throttle body painting
anybody done it or got any tips?
havent seen anything on here about anybody painting them
i was thinking of just using throttle body cleaner to clean it up, then scuff up with scotch pad, then blow all the dust and crap off, tape off the opening and the side port and then use caliper paint.

i painted mine when i painted everything else in my engine bay. just taped off the used parts of it. didn't even scuff it just cleaned it good then used engine primer and paint.
That tb looks bad ass, great job on that.
Acetone would be good to clean your tb with, it's great for paint prep and for cleaning the I side of the tb, just get some on a rag and wipe it down.
