Agreed that looks closer to 35. Mine was 35 all around(except windshield) from the dealer but I got it pulled off and replaced with 5 and SS in the rear window. I love it ill post some pics tomorrow

Hope you fought it. I really want to try out 15, but I don't want to always be worried about the cops. But at the same time a cop could pull me over for 20 or 25 or 35.. so maybe its not even worth worrying.

i fought it and lost... my car is licensed and registered in IL and 35% is LEGAL in IL.... but im stationed in VA right now and they pulled me over and the judge said it didnt matter because cars have to abide by VA law. which is 50front 35 rear. and then stated that if a cop sat on the side of the road by the border and saw ANY car with anything that doesnt abide by VA law enter VA they can ticket you.

therefore that cop was a douche especially cause he pulled me over at 11 at night for the tint...

i think its because the adhesive on the tint film doesnt take well to the texture of those dots. idk how to fix it lol

i was told to get the tint cut out and a vinyl overlay to cover the dot matrix at the top but i haven't had time to get it done yet...

the people i had tint my car didnt put the tint past the dots for fear of that happening. i just have to put the vinyl in.

the tint cant stick that well to the texture and after a while it may bubble like people are describing.

its not "bubbling" its just not adhering to the glass to where there are dots because it adhered to the dots. the part inbetween the dots is whitish i will c if i can get a pix up

Graham (CalgaryBalt) has 20% on his windows and has had no problems yet. i heard that the CPS doesnt care if your not driving like an ******* and they can see how many people are in the car. so dont speed! but as soon as you go out of the city, roll down your windows! RCMP hate tint
My luck finally ran out the other morning on my way to work, got pulled over near chinook mall and written a tint ticket, wasnt driving like crazy or speeding or anything like that, just for the tint...... good thing it was only 57 bucks

when i got my tint done it bubbled a bit in the spots over those dots on the rear window, i fixed it by taking a credit card or something and wrapped it with paper towel and ran it evenly over the bubbled spots. Did that a couple times a day and eventually it was a-ok. Its perfect now.

Then don't leave your ******* BlackBerry in your car.

Duhh. If this ghetto neighbourhood you claim to live in is really that bad, it's not going to make a difference if you have tint or not.

I missed this the first time around. I hope it was a joke. Tinting your windshield is idiotic to begin with... but to 16%? I have no words.
