I just got my 07 Black SS/SC Cobalt and i want to do window tints soon...My question is what % looks best on the black cobalt?? Thanks

 

well limo tint would look the best. but its not worth the ticket. if u care, find out the max amount of tint allowed in your state legally. 15% looks good but not toooooooo dark

yea i mean i live in new york and legal is 70% its stupid, so im jus gonna go with best looks that looks legit, risk the fine if it happens, but shouldnt. I was thinking 20 or 15 which u think is better?

 

i had a black 05 ion quad coupe before my balt and the tint i got on that was 15% it looked really good but i got a ticket

 

I have 5% on all windows and a 5% strip on the front window. Looks sick. I love it. Go with 5%%%%%%%%%%%%%

 

yeah. just get whatevers legal in your state. it's not worth the tickets

 

I got 5 on the back and 35 in the front. Its illegal in Michigan to have any tint on the front and its light enough where cops haven't messed with me and still Dark enough to give someone the bird.

 

i got 20 and its perfect, can barely see in and cops dont hastle me...yet

I got 20 too and no tickets or harassment here either. And you can still out through them at night.

 

i have 28% on the sides and 5% in the back windows..its perfect for me

 

in your sig it says you got 15..... 20 does look really good though.

 

If your under the legal limit on tint, u can't pass state inspections here in TX, unless u know somebody

 

i live in new york too and me and all my friends go with 35% because we feel its the best since its dark but light, you get what i mean? 35% cops dont mess with you

everyone says go with whats legal in your state, PA is f'n 70%!!!! FORGET THAT lol, my integra is at 15 all the way around, and i got pulled off with a warning once, but it really depends where you live if the cops are a pain or not

 

in NY, any tint except the stock tint on side windows is illegal
i had 35% in the front and 20% in the back on my old car, and 20% looked better

i'm shopping for tint right now, and for a black car, I think 20% is the best
