Better check ur state laws to see what ur gettin in to.

If that's an issue for you, at least do the back windows, I'm pretty sure those are legal in most states.

 

Gettin just ur back windows tinted looks dumb if u ask me. Its either do them all or nothing.

Call your NC highway Patrol.. They will give you the latest,, am attaching a link,, but looks like 35% all around EXCEPT windshield. Can have on that from top to "AS1" line. REMEMBER.... PERCENTAGEIS MEASURED AFTER TINT IS INSTALLED ON GLASS. Your Coby has a percentage of tint in glass from factory. If you buy 35% and place on glass that already has tint IN it... it will ADD to what you installed!!! And then you will be in violation after spending good money. No lower than 35% when job is complete.
MAKE SURE.... you have this professionally installed.. no pre-cut orders and "do it yourselfs".. It is worth a professional company for a good job and the (usually) lifetime warranty. Especially on the back glass. I highly recommend 3M brand tint material.

yea it helps alot. I was thinkin 35 cause that is the lowest u can go here legally.just a side not but The cops here actually went around the school parking lot today and wrote tickets for everone one who had tint on their cars. How messed up is that?

 

I have 5% on mine. Live in NC too. Tint tickets are sooo easy to get out of. I've only got one, but the cop didn't pull me over for tint in the first place, he just decided to throw it in .

 

I have 35% all around in NY State and you cant even notice them that much. Cops dont bother me for em

 

I run 20% (actually 15% with 20% stickers) all around on mine.

Heard about some people getting ticketed for tint here lately but they've left me
alone for some reason. Then again, they're also the same ones that let me go after
accidentally drag racing their Ford Explorer from a stop light to 110 too

I admitted I didn't even see them sitting there next to me as I was talking to my passenger

They said they were just glad I LET them stop me

i had 20% all around on mine and i got pulled over 3 times in about 2 weeks only. and they pulled me over just for my tint. i spent a lot of money to get it done and i had to rip it off of the 2 front side windows i was pretty pissed. it looked BA tho when it was on. IMO it just depends on where u live, it seems to me like they are less strict in the cities, i live in small town north dakota. the legal limit is only 50% here too so its pretty tough to get away with 20% haha.
