tint question but not a noob question

ok i know alot about tint and have tinted serveal cars using titn from a friends shop but i need your honest views on the back window. The dot matrix is my problem. Waht should i do or what has been done for you? as of now i have looked at just putting titn over but it might not stick and turn the whiteish silver color or i could scrape of the dot matrix and it would def stick but im not sure if it would turn whitish silver. other thing is a piece of black vinil? What has been done for your back windows please let me know before i finsh tintig the car thnkis for any help.

I used spray paint on mine. It looks pretty good from the inside, and looks perfect from the outside. Black Vinyl works as well. I've also heard of guys putting tint, and then continually using a squeegee to re-apply, and eventually it sticks.

Paint and Vinyl were the two most common methods to deal with it that I read about on the J-Body forums I used to frequent. Haven't tried either method myself though.

yea i did vinyl, but i know some tint places will use clear elmers glue, but sometimes the glue dries wierd and at an angle makes the tint look a little wavy.

The place that is doing my tint today said the same thing. I asked if they used vinyl and they said no, they have a process for going over it that works so it doesn't look like crap or something. This is a reputable shop that backs their work, so we'll see. I'll post up some pics this weekend after I wax her up
