State troopers in Fl are the worst about dark tint. They will literally turn around on the highway to write a ticket. Unreal.

 

Does anyone have a picture or an idea of how dark 35% is?

70% is the stock tint on all modern cars. It's only there to reduce sun glare and it doesn't even look like tint, if you look at the window from an angle it's that bluish color you see. So NO tint beyond factory is legal in PA.

 

correct you are alley except the factory window treatment isnt tint its actually the a treatment to the glass itself

in fl its like 15 on rear 30 up front and windshield max of 4 inches also 30

 

Florida is AS1 line on the windshield. Though that pretty much is 3~4".

 

so is state front the front windows (ie. driver side and passenger?)

There is a service that will dip your windows in a solution, which would be considered Legit as it's not a film that can come off. Tint is only illegal if it can come off, well in Canada anyway

 

I believe mine is all 20% which is darker than KY law allows but ah well, 35% doesn't do crap.

 

Hey MO just changed their laws Its 30% in the front any darkness in the back, and the as1 line...

 

if you want to add PR for us PR members the law is, 35% drivers windows and front windshield and back windows as low as you want...

so it will be state front 35% sides 35% and back ANY

good... thats pretty much my car except the back... i have a 5% brow, 35% and 20% on the front (probably not quite 15), 35% and 5% on the backseat, and 2 layers of 5% along with the 35% on the rear

 

i have 10% black all around and 30% on the entire front windshield :-) its badass but i cant see out of it at night!

 

i guess my 5% all the way around was a bad idea lol.. luckily i didnt go with the 33 on the windshield too

 

I just got my first ticket last week here in Illinois (which is no tint at all on front). I have 20% on back, 35% on front. Cop said it looks too dark, not so much to me. Anyway I got a $75 ticket if I don't decide to remove it, which I won't (maybe till next ticket).

 

i really dont think cops care in DE...i got 5% all around and the only time i had a cop say somethin was in NY. cops look at me and keep it movin

 

michigan there really is no law aaginst the amount the state police will haze about it but nothing really against the law my windows are all pitch black and i have never been pulled yet. and i got it done about 6 months ago and 2 days after i got my tintt pulled over for speeding and the sheriff didnt say anything just handed me the 105 dollar ticket and said have a nice day! (*****)

 

so shortyhend...i noticed you live in ohio as well. Since we both have blue granite i was wondering what your tint is so i can figure out what i should do with mine. thanks...
