That's actually a bad idea...like almost everything ..widebodys etc....Having it molded on to a stock truck no matter how well they do it it will crack....there's no way arond that plus with the open and shuting of thr trunk it will happen sooner the. Later...if the op is backing out of doing a duraflex trunk...I wouldnt even bother making just the wing personally
We will make whatever sells. I would like to do both. Until the CEO of the company comes back from his manufacturing facility in China, I won't have a confirmed answer. I've emailed him already and I am still waiting for a response.
There is just no pleasing you.

I voted Duralfex but I will buy one no matter what. Seriously, this trunk is bad ass and is a nice alternative to going wingless. Question though, how strong will the corners be, I don't want one to snap off. If it is made in CF, will it need to be painted? I've heard conflicting information on CF getting nasty in the sun, especially down here in south Florida.

Updated OP.
UPDATE 05/16/11:
Name of the new trunk: GT Concept
I have gotten the approval to build a Duraflex and Carbon Fiber version of the trunks.

The pricing is set at $599 for Duraflex and $799 for Carbon Creations.
After the the product its completed, I will be conducting a Group Buy on the trunks.
Duraflex will range from $360-$420 + Shipping
Carbon Creations will range from $480-$560 + Shipping.
Those prices are based off of the amount of people who actually buy and leave deposits.

What he said. lol. When the GB starts I will be only collecting 50% up front. So atleast try to save up to that percentage so you can get your name on the list before mass production begins.

I totally agree with you guys. That is why I have not yet started the GB. Until the initial product is designed properly I will not be collecting any sort of deposits. Keep your eyes out for this thread and subscribe to it!
