Took some pics of the balt
Hey,
I have a Cobalt LS 2006 model...
I bought it back when I was in high school and I worked 2 jobs to pay it in cash.
It was completely bone stock and since then I have added a bunch of aftermarket parts to it.
Here is what I have done so far to it.
Progress Rear Sway Bar
Eibach Front Sway bar
FE5 Struts and Shocks
Pedder Lowering Springs
Vibrant Headers and Down Pipe with High Flow Catalytic Converter
GMPP Touring Exhaust
SSBC Big Brake Kit
RE-11 tires
17" OZ Energy Rims
Angel Head Lights
Ingen Short Ram setup
Friend painted the side mirrors to match the color of the car (they are originally just black plastic)
Friend tinted side markers and tail lights, he used actual car paint and clear coat. I like it better than night shade since the brake lights are more translucent. When I used night shade originally I had people telling me that my tail lights were off at night -_-
AVH-P4100DVD touch screen headunit
DB 6.5" Polk Audios in the front
6x9 DB series Polk Audio in the rears
2 amps, one 4 channel for the speakers, and one 2 channel for the Subs
2 15" Polk Audio Subs in the trunk
Future Projects
I have a custom cluster that I need to install, it's been in my room for over 4 months now lol
Tint the Chevy Symbols
I love the performance of the strut/pedder combo but I still have like a 3" gap. So coilovers might be an option. Not sure yet...
Have a rear ss skirt that I am going to add, need to get it painted, probably will do it around December
Thinking of also changing the front bumper

Some pics of the speakers...
I was one of the people that was getting leaking from the driver and passenger side after upgrading the speakers, I originally used some aftermarket bracket
After some reading I found out that the oem speaker/bracket sort of acts as a "seal"
So I had to go online to find some oem speakers
So when I followed the tutorial for the oem brackets I siliconed the crap out of it just to ensure a better seal, hasn't leaked since
Like I said, with the pedder and fe5 setup I have about a 3" gap, I included the picture for future reference.

Yep, the 8th and 9th pics are of the rear sway bar
Are you talking about the pics of the brakes?
I took 2 pics because one is of the front and the other is the rear. With the LS models our rears are drums and the SSBC converts it to a disc brake

Wow man nice looking balt! Reminds me that I have so much to do to my balt, lol. Especially loving the wingless look, I plan on going wingless on mine too when we repaint it. Goin back this color though cause I think it's sexy, especially when I get an SS front bumper and sideskirts
Keep up the good work man

If I were to go down this route I would have to do internals. I would probably choose a supercharger over a turbocharger despite the fact I would get far greater gains doing a turbo. I just love that whining sound
I personally like it and it was super easy to install, a lot of the people on the forums feel the same way
Thanks for the catch, removed the duplicate
