Trim removal

How do i remove the window switch/handle surround thing? I started to pop it off but the side closest to the door panel doesn't want to come off and I don't want to break it.

Also, how do I remove the two pieces of plastic on the steering wheel where the cruise control buttons are?

for the window handle thinger you want to look where you grab. in that area there is a black plastic cover that is sort of a pain to get out (you need to push in the tab and pull up) my best advice is to get a small flathead screwdriver and work with it. once you take the cover off there are two screws holding it in; take out the screws and it comes out simple

as for the steering wheel pieces there is a how-to.. Ill track it down for you because telling you is rather hard without pics

Thanks! and yeah, I just got my new head unit/sub/amp installed and while I had the dash pieces off I figured I might as well paint them, so I'm painting them a Satin Black - nothing flashy, just trying to make them blend in a little more with my black interior. and now I'm going to paint the steering wheel pieces and the door handle things. I'll post pictures of everything once I get it all put back together.
