What about my Injen intake. I have it set up for cold air with the water sheild. Never used engine degreaser. Is good on the polished tubing and electrical? Might need to plug up the hole where my tube contacts to my filter.

I just cleaned mine up yesterday. Formula 88 or Simple Green both work well. I use 88. You can just spray it on the whole motor and hose it off, but I prefer to use shop towels sprayed with cleaner. It takes more time, but it's a lot less messy, and if you're afraid of getting water in your intake or electricals, there's no worries. Your intake should be fine no matter what you decide to use. It's pretty hard to find something so aggressive that it'll damage polished aluminum, and if you do, you probably shouldn't be handling it. Just make sure you don't use an engine dressing or one of those "instant shine" type products. They look great for a while, but over time the heat under there turns them yellow and makes them impossible to clean off.
