Can have them on when you are driving (most states) IMO that is the biggest one.

Other then they are illegal in most states, not really. Some people don't like them but I say if you like something go ahead and do it.

Possible rust damage if they are mounted to metal parts. Ive broken several tubes. It gets old replacing them. I ******* hate cleveland weather. No Snow is for me.

You just can't have them on while going down the road. I think you can have them in every state. They're only allowed on while not on a public road I believe, although some states allow certain colors on the road so check your state laws. I just ordered mine today and I highly recommend Turbo Tech Racing! Better deal then through Street Glow and you still get the lifetime warranty!

Some kits have a "street legal" mode in the hope that you won't be hassled as much. This may include all tubes at reduced brightness, all tubes white, all tubes amber, or white front/amber sides/red rear.

Whats funny is that you actually need the tube for them to warrant the breakage. My front light completely disappeared.

Wow... I didn't know ricers weren't allowed to have performance mods... And if standing out from the crowd makes you a ricer then just about everyone on this site must be one...

For me there's absolutely no point in doing performance work in a DD car. I don't race it or anything, and it just gets me from point A to point B while having a good looking car. I don't NEED performance. And I get good millage. My car isn't rice because none of it is "race inspired."

Yeah... the lights don't make it rice That's not what I see as rice in those cars.

Of course it's not rice... I think it looks awesome. Now if you had a burning skull on the hood we may have a different story

yea maybe. I got orange because the blue wouldn't match my car at all and orange goes very well with my Imperial Blue.
