1. I got my wire from a totaled cobalt from my work that came in. (I work in a body shop), but any auto parts store should have it.

2. I used some bolt under the dash for my ground, next to the A pillar.

3. I got a add a fuse and connected it to my windshield wiper fuse.

add a fuse just allows u to tap into an existing fuse. so u can easily connect ur wiring without splicing existing wires

lmfao u still didnt get ur answer dude....i personally left it unhooked but i would think it has to be a wire hooked up to something that you can change the lightning on like the radio or clustergauges " but i can be wrong on this thats y i didnt mess with it".....

NVM u just got it haha...

Wait you should have a :

1-direct voltage power cable that hooks up to your battery or any direct 12v source

2- power wire that connects to a switchable 12v souce thats only activated when the car is on like the power windows switch " this will control the on and off "... Do this !

Run a power power from the window switch fuse from the fuse box on the passenger side then run it all the way to ur gauges and connect them to that...thats how i have mine hooked up and they will light up every time the car is on and turn off whenever the car is off.

The illumination is only to dim them or brighten them, just leave that unhooked " put electric tape on it so it doesnt touch anything else "

Or just get the add a fuse, believe me its the easiest way. And get a good ground and the gauge should work fine.

IDK, hopefully someone else can tune in. I would do what I said, or follow that how to.
