I use this stuff...

http://store.mothers.com/product_inf...products_id=18

It takes the stuff off and keeps your rubber and plastic pieces black.

Best way to avoid it is to cover it with masking tape or be very careful when waxing your car.

just when you get done taking the wax off of the panel, take a clean part of the rag and rub the **** out of the corner that you might have gotten wax on. if its already there and nasty and white, then get some spray nine or armorall even works. spray on the rag and massage into the plastic.

I've been told that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the way to go. Apparently removes the wax build-up with no issues. I have a bit of this problem on my mud flaps and plan to use the Magic Eraser myself. I will post if I am completely off base.

This may sound odd, but you can also use a white eraser, like for pencil, and it should come off.
