Wet Sanding

So I'm wanting to black out my tails but I'm not do sure what wet sanding really is and what it involves so I was looking for someone to explain. Also what tools would be needed as well.

Just some 2000 grit sandpaper, Wet sanding just means you keep the paper wet while sanding

DO NOT sand your tails. whether its wet sanding or not. it will give it a horrible hazed look. just put very light coats on and make sure not to run.

Just keep the paper wet all the time and that's basically it. Sanding with water lol I did mine in a sink with the water running on the side.

I thought they needed to be wetsanded, otherwise they don't look smooth, but now I'm guessing that not the case lol..well as long as done right and carefully.

Random tinting question...

How many cans will I need to get them really dark?

Oh alright cool man. Yea just take your time with them and give them a good wetsand. Then just polish them with any kind of car wax as long as it's not heavy duty lol
