No, i didn't paint it black ,and no idon't have any closer pics right now. It's a red emblem off a '01 cavalier with graphite metallic vinyl behind it. Going to do the back bow-tie also but without the vinyl.

Hey man i like the emblem but check up on emblems at J-body.org, there's a couple people on there that are making them out of carbon fiber. I think that it looks awesome i would definatley do it if i had a red or any bright colored cobalt, it would look bad. later man
