So I hate the white inside the SS emblems so the white has to go. Was going to paint a different color until I saw the how-to showing that they are chrome under the paint. So my question is to anyone that has done it. What stripper did you use? What would you suggest? And has anyone stripped the paint off the emblems while still on car? Obviously taping off with towels and stuff real good, still bad idea?

I actually found that on my badges it was a white sticker that just peeled off... Either way if not paint stripper should do it.

 

That would be awsome if mine was just a sticker too. I'll have to look later when I get off work. If I do need paint stripper my local walmart and home depot have like Klean-Strip, Goo Gone Painter's Pal, Goof Off, Citristrip, Ready-Strip... Whats strong enough to take the paint off but not too strong to mess up chrome lol.

 

mine are all just stickers. should peel right off

 

just put a head gun on them and they will probably just fall off.
