Has anyone seen a custom painted White Diamond (pearl white - Cadillac colour) Cobalt SS? I want to do this SO BAD! It will cost me $4000 (estimate). Not too sure if I should spend that much on a custom paint or upgrade the performance. It would look DAMN good though and considering I dont race other than the odd red light every once in a while, dont think i'll need $4000 dropped under the hood. Anyone have pics or comments?

 

I honestly think that's a waste of money for a paint job on a cobalt. Maybe if the car was custom and was used in shows or something. $4000 can be better spent on the car, performance, audio, interior, exterior, and suspension. You can do a lot to the cobalt with 4g

 

you can do alot of things with 4,000

like buy a bike.

 

If you have the money, go for it. it will look good.

 

well the car has quite a few rock chips and scratches, swirl marks that have already been attempted by cut wax and polish, so I would like to get a new paint job. Getting it done black again will run me $1900 and its hard to maintain! Also, I already have a double din screen, 1 12", wheels, stage 2, intake, exhaust, TC grills. Only thing left that I wanna do for interior/exterior appearance is projector/halo headlights with hids, smoke my tailights(again ERGH!) and tint the windows. So I'm gonna think about this, and look around to see if I can get a better price

 

it would be nice, but i cant see how that is worth it on the cobalt

 

lol i know, its a COBALT. but the only thing that sucks about droppin that kinda cash on paint is that i cant take it off when i sell the car haha. Ill see if I can get it done around the 2G range, that'd be more reasonable.

there was one here in el paso, but he painted it bmw black (metalic black) of something like that and he was going to do graphics in pearl white cuz he wanted to do venom on his car to make competition with the spiderman eclipse from team notorious
