I wish we had one MINI style, hidden compartment when not racing, then at the track you can attatch it, remove it again after the event.

I definitely DON'T want something visible all the time.

Last time i checked it was massive body kits, wings, rims, etc..

And most of you have no room to talk, take a look at some of the cobalts on this site if you wanna see rice..

Anyways, i would be down. Any colors??

How about something that would fold up under the car and held by a wing nut when not in use.

I find this whole thread very hard to believe! GET REAL!!!

I would take a set in black, would be less noticeable.

What would the design look like?

Ive seen them on a honda where you would mount the bracket on and then you mount the tow hook on to the bracket via 4 hex head bolts. That way when you arent at the track or towing the car you can just take it off and no one will notice.

I always feel kinda weird attaching any straps or hooks to the front sub-frame so this would come in handy, and ive had to tow the car often enough to know.

i can tell them something like that design.

the tow hook isnt gonna stick out like 12 in''!!
its just gonna far enough out so you can just see the hole to put hook on to tow it.
ill get some photos as soon as i get one. it shouldnt be long.

Ok let us know, like i said, im def interested, I get tired of having to attach to that front subframe and then the chain/strap pushes the bumper and radiator up, worries me.

I will need one before time attack comes back around, as long as it's functional and not ricey looking. Was gonna buy one from SaferRacer and fab something up but if your gonna have a bolt on deal even better. Have to see it first.

I would love one if it was removable and functional. I liked the one that is stock on the 350Z's. There is a section of the grille that pops of and the hook screws into a bracket that is built onto the bumper bar. Very nice. Had to use it once too.

This has been tried before. If you actually manage to get something that actually works and isn't hideous I'd be down.

You plan on hitting up Time Attack too? Which event will you be at? I'll be at Autobahn with my other buddy with a Cobalt SS.

What class are you going for?
What mods?
