I doubt this thread will ever go anywhere and if it does will the hooks really be much better than these \/

the ones im having made for are cars are going to be made out of stainless steel.
so im just wondering how Benen are going to be so much better? cause there name brand?
I never said the ones you're making are shitty. I said that I'd rather trust a solid brand with a good reputation who makes good products than something you'd find at Pep Boys. I didn't once mention yours, Ace.

As much as I hate ricer mods, I wish I woulda had one one of these when I snapped an axle at the drag strip and had to be towed onto a flat bed.. They fuckered my lip up pretty bad loading me up.
If you roll these all day every day, and never track your car you ARE a ricer, period.
For me, and my recommendation to anyone who abuses their car on track days, I would get the mounting holes and everything lined up and good to go, keep the hooks in my trunk, and slap them on if and when I ever needed to be towed again, (praying I never do)

Hmm.. I've never tried to cut or bend my plate before, but I don't see what the big deal is if the numbers/letters are still comprehendible?
But yes, 07metallicSC, I'm with you on the snow. My girlfriends driveway is horrendous in the winter with snow and ice. She already lost a front bumper and cooling system to the driveway, and I almost went into the frozen creek. lol I was literally teetering on the side. Had to get towed out by her Moms truck using a tow strap hooked to my passenger side a-arm. Pull very very lightly as to not break it and we were in business. But boy was I pissed..

thats what my buddy said as long as its visible whats the difference, the cop explained ( which i understood ) that the plates on your vehicle belong to the state, they are just used on your vehicle, like how you have to return them to the dmv when you sell a car. your returning their property, makes sense i guess. stupid but makes sense. lol.

to ss33, I dont think it would be a ricer mod either, say I brake down and because im lowered on H&Rs they have nothing to grab to to pull it onto the flatbad, and what if im in a dangerous area where I cannot safely attach my tow hook? Id rather be called a ricer in some peoples eyes then have a front bumper or lip destroyed or rear lip/bumper getting towed onto a tow truck from lack of area to attach a chain to. A guy that lives in my gfs condo complex has a 643 awdhp evo with a tow hook coming right thru the cf hood, doesnt look rice, looks damn hot actually. i guess its all personal views
