Benefits of working at a dealership My tint was free
They tinted 5% on the back and the two rear and 35% on the front. The front windows are already tinted from the factory so adding another 35% makes it looks good

My tint is 35% and looks just like the Featured Car.
The only time it turns purple is if you clean it with a glass cleaner that has ammonia in it. I use only distilled water to wipe mine down with.

Good luck

i found out texas has strange laws about that. for the state of texas 20% is legal but the cops will ticket you for anything lower than 35.

i got quoted 240 for 5% on the back two 35% on the back glass and front 2 and the sunstrip. and i thought you could only go 4" or to the ANSI line on the windshield unless they did it just cause you paid it.

I spent $200 and got 15% all the way round.

The best part about getting tint from a pro tint shop is the WARRANTEEEE!

thats the 10 inch strip, sorry it took so long to post..

just make sure you wait to put the stuff on till there is no more ice for year.. ice wreaks havoc on vinyl strips on windshields. i usually redo mine every year after winter rolls through.

Looks awsome. I love the way tint looks on a black car. I'm not a fan of the winshield vinyl but still looks good. Did u do the vinyl on your headlights or did the tint shop u went to?

i still got busted with 35, but thats in michigan.. michigan law is only the top 4 inches of your front windows, oh well..

as far as the headlights go, i did all the work myself.. made up the design on a cad program and had a vinyl cutter do the rest.. i really urge against cutting the vinyl directly on the lights, it'll leave marks on them.

edit: i didnt design the eyelids, i stole the design from some ebay store, and just made it myself.

I can't believe it ! I see cars & trucks all over town where you can't even see in the vehicle at all.

that looks hott on a black car. i had 5% cobalt on all of my windows in my cobalt too. but i had couldn't see at night out my two front side windows and since my car doesn't have power windows it was hard to roll them up and down so i changed the 5 to 20%. How do you see at night? Also I never heard of people getting points from tint. It's a non moving violation.

yea its a bit hard to see at night. ive got 2 blue neon tubes inside tho, kinda helps with the light. otherwise its not that bad at all. the looks really outweigh the vision problem imo. im in montreal, cops dont even look at me with the tint, and i dont see many 5% cars at all, looks like they got better things to do. and thank god for that.
