Wing

Where can I order a high rise wing? Dealership wants way to much. I have the regular wing on and think the high rise looks better. I have a 2010 SS turbocharged Sport Red Tintcoat

I bought a fibreglass one from extreme dimensions, and I REALLY wish I would have forked out the cash for a genuine GM one instead. The quality is fairly poor. You can see casting marks, there are little divits in it, and two of the four holes for the bolts (that hold the center blade in) stripped on me. I have a feeling the last two will do the same when I take it off to try to fix it again. There is simply not enough material for the bolts to grab without having this issue. They thread right into the fiberglass, which is NOT very thick. If I was you, I would be patient and wait for a used OEM one to pop up for sale. If you really want it now, I would buy from the dealer. I sure wish I did.

I agree I bought the fiberglass one also and it is junk. Barely attached to my trunk. But at the same time what gm is asking for is rediculas.

A good option is to see if anyone would want to strait trade trunks. Lots of people would do this for free.

Just a thought, you could maybe contact Crate Engine Depot here on css.net and see what they would charge for a spoiler. I ordered a center arm rest through them, and even with shipping to Canada, I saved almost $200 compared to buying from a local dealer. I forget who I dealt with, but he was extremely helpful.

Stay away from the duraflex one. That's what I have. Very disappointed in it. No clue about the carbon fiber one though. I hate the look, so wasn't going to spend that much money just to paint over it.
