wing hole plugs?

I was wanting to go wingless and i was wondering if there was something to plug the holes on the trunk where the wing used to be? I dont want to bondo it and get it painted because i want too switch back and forth between wing and no wing. My friend has an srt-4 and switches back and forth. He has these little plugs that just slip into the holes so no water enters. Is their anything like this for the ss?

thanks

there is the tape option lol or the plug option. you might able to get ones at autozone if your lucky, or if you can find clear thick tape or something thats close to the same color. its sucks lol

no one actually makes plugs for the holes. best bet is to try and get another trunk if ya can and keep the one ya got. just suck changing key holes. i got another trunk im working on but i am shaving as much as i can of it. that way i can put the wing back on the stock trunk and run a spare when i want something diferent

Having a whole second trunk would be a HUGE nuisance...

i don't really see the issue, buy some plastic plugs, paint them to match.

i agree, but its a hassle to find a big one to cover up that 3 hole thingy for the one bolt

while, of course, you don't need 400 of them, they have little bins like this at ace hardware. costs about $0.08 each.

I don't know what your spatial limitations are, but I know for a fact that keeping a trunk lying around in a garage or back shed will take up quite a bit of space...

alright well if you have the space and acces to another trunk lid or even cheap it is nice to be able to have it. i have the spare room but not so much time to work on it. (overtime can be a killer)

best option would be to use color matched vinyl, no one makes plugs that shape the holes we have, and it would look silly with plugs anyway if you did make some fit.
