if the car wasn't so jacked up in the rear the wing would look way better in my opinion...tuff call cause that silver s/c looks really good wingless as well.

 

KEEP IT. I like the SS/SC wing on our cars. I think it looks silly though the people who put it on regual cobalts. If you take it if, replace it the RK 3 piece or a low profile SS/NA wing. Those are freaking sweet

 

I say keep it I think the wing is what makes them stand out form all the others Just my opinion.

Lose the wing. Its such a cop magnet, and the SS/SC looks better w/o it. Its not even functional!

 

i have a CF hood and decklid, i'm going wingless for the summer. not to mention, it saves weight.

 

I say keep the wing. I think the profile of the car looks better.

And for those saying it is non functional.

Take a highway merge ramp. One that turns. Take it with wing at speed (say 70 ish if it is gradual enough) Then without wing. (go slower please don't want anyone getting hurt.) The wing adds downforce. It is needed for handling at speed.

...a couple ounces anyways . The SS/SC wing is VERY light .

I dont doubt it really could be something that does help handling and straightline stablity at speeds over say 120 mph . But I honestly have not felt the slightest handling difference with no wing . I have a LS wing on now , but I went wingless for a longer period of time than I've had either SS or LS wing .

i like it it make the whole profile of the car just flow without the wing it looks like something is missing just my two cents plus you have to do more work to take it off then just to leave it on

 

if u pitch the wing u need to debadge so if u get a random honda or ricy car that messes with u they wont see it coming

I think this thread kind of shows why GM decided to make the wing an option for '07. They did their R&D.

 

Wow, I voted before checking the rest of the thread, and was surprised to see that it was exactly 50/50 after i voted. I was thinking of taking mine off too, but its to much work for my lazy ass.

 

Im stuck with you too. Ive been going back and forth on this one for the last few months. lol. If I get rid of it, I have to half the back shaved because most people will think its just another cobalt with a bodykit. Thats really the only reason I want to keep it on. Just because it grabs attention. I dunno though..im weird. lol
