Yea, ALLSHOT, your would look crazy sick with the wingless look and tint...DO IT..DO IT...DO IT. I have the laser blue and its wingless, i get maddd compliments. Besides, when i was going 140 on 295 the ass end wasn't moving at all so it probably had no function anywayz

 

i say keep it. to me it gives it a more better look

I loved when mine was wingless---CF wasn't my style so i was forced to put the 'park bench' back on--wish I was still wingless tho...it attracts too much negative attention and I can't see out my rear view.

I loved the wingless look, I think it makes the car look sleeker. I like the low-rise spoiler too.

 

take it offf.....lol they look so much cleaner with them off.

 

Get rid of it, when i got rid of mine, cops left me a lone, I could see traffic behind me, it reduces weight and someone might buy it from you. You really cant lose if you take it off.

Take a look in my gallery for pics of my car that is wingless and dropped with sportlines. It would be a mirror image of yours if you went lowered and wingless.

 

me and lsj06ecotec just traded trunk lids the other day (his SS/SC for my LS lid) he wanted wingless, i wanted a wing...it worked out and his car looks amazing without it on...

 

You could do this.....

 

haha.....I am not going to vote cause I am having a hard choice myself and I think its personal opinion too... I took mine off and didnt like it, so I put it back on..... I think I might go with the RK Sports or just leave mine on unless something else comes out.....

Def. take it off. You're car looks much more clean and suttle without it. Personally I think our stock wings are very riced out. They look like they belong on a primered Honda with donuts.

i love how this poll is so even... it seems like a lot more people used to be bias towards the wing, but many have come around to like the wingless look too.

for some reason i only like the ss/sc body package along with the low pro wing... every other combo looks wierd to me

When I bought my SS, I really didn't want the low wing, but to get the 2.4 and all the other SS goodies, I had to take it. All it does is add aero drag, block the view out the back, and attract the attention of Johnny Law (as if a sporty little bright red car with 17" polished rims didn't do a good enough job of that already). I don't know how you can see anything in the mirror of a car with the Supercharged-style wing! O.K., its great if you want to look like all of those other pretenders with their "Rice Rocket" Tuner cars with their soup can exhausts, but we Cobalters are a classier crowd. So, yeah, go ahead and get rid of it. I may just go ahead and do the same thing, if I can manage to find a red front-end totalled Cobalt coupe without a spoiler in a local yard. I don't want the hassles of filling the holes and then color-matching the repairs.

 

Well I don't like the wing blocking out the window BUT it does add useful downforce. I have tried the on off ramps in both with and without wing. The wing does help. Also at 140 down the interstate NOT THAT I HAVE TRIED THAT ive heard it helps kepp the rear down so it doesnt lift and keeps the car sturdy. I'll deal with the window being blocked for the ability to DRIVE my car.

 

I've got no wing and I think it makes the car even sexy as long as u have lowered the car somewhat. And washing the trunk lid is far easier!
