Winter Boredom = TLC For the Balt

Spring is rapidly approaching here at Ft Campbell and I want to get my car made uniquely mine.

Current projects completed:

20% Window tint to match Sunroof Factory Default
Rear Window Vinyl (Window Tint didn't go all the way up because of the factory dot matrix)
Engine Cover Painted
Bowtie Repaint
De-stickered (My wife put 6 damn stickers on it while I was deployed)

Projects planned:

Smoked Skyline Tails
Gen 3 Projectors w/ Foglamp HID refit
Debadging
Front License plate removal (Not required while active duty to have 2 plates)
Black Billet Grille Inserts for upper and lower openings
Powder Coat rims (Black)
Powder Coat Caliper Housings (White)

I am looking for others that have gotten bored or want to push their balts more expressly them and was wondering if some of my ideas have actually gone past the planning stage.

- Moving Backup lights to recessed underneath the bumper in preparation for my Skyline tails mod (Frankenstein'd the idea from the 2 guys that have done it)
- Vinyl wrapping the interior Trim in Carbon Fiber style / Black Satin (Trim is Silver, FFS!!)
- Shaving the trunk keyhole (I have remote entry that includes trunk release)
- Painting lower lip on lower airdam (Black Gloss)

For those that have heavily modded the appearance of their balts perhaps sharing some ideas or pictures of projects you liked or liked the outcome, Please share. Cobalts are a dime a dozen here in the Military and I've seen 2 on post worth a damn besides mine.

The third brake light is garbage. The guy that did my vinyl gave me an extra set of stripes for free and I intend on doing the third brake light over again with the vinyl instead.

Putting a custom grille on it tomorrow, removing the license plate thingy in the front. And tinting the side markers. Going to have to wait to do my skyline tails mod before I do anything with the tails. Still thinking about a couple of things I want to do to it.

Going to meet the powder coat guy today at 1500 for the rims and calipers. In about 2 weeks putting an Injen Dry Filter Cold Air Intake on it and then putting dual cat back x pipe exhaust after that.

If I could find someone with the stock coilovers for the SS for the stance, my build would be complete after that.

Also, the OP's wheels are tripping me out... I'm on my phone so I can't really tell but they look like the stock 17", but have a polished inner lip like the LSJ 18". My mind = blown
