Would this shift knob work on my manual?

Would this shift knob work on my manual?

I want to buy a different shift knob and I've been looking at a couple like this one but I don't know it looks like its for an automatic do you guys know of any good places to get some cool looking shift knobs thanks

you could get any of those universal ones. But i dont think any are made to fit the car the way the factory one does

I've seen numerous people with aftermarket knobs on the Cobalt. You will need to find one with a screw that tightenes it to the shaft of the shifter though since ours are not a screw on type of shifter.

they are well worth it and require hardly no experience to install them.. Hell I did mine with a staff infection in my right hand which rendered it useless and it only took me like 30 mins to do.

I say go that route unless if you are just that dead set on not getting one.

Universal ones work. For mine when I had it, I removed the plastic piece that clips onto the stock knob, cut the zip tie inside the boot, put a new zip tie in, took a dremel and cut the piece that screws on the bottom of the universal knob that hides screws. Then installed the knob, pulled the center console trim up, then screwed the bottom trim on which secured the boot.
