i got a large SS emblem. i have mixed feelings right now.

im just not sure i like the white with the orange like that. i might try to get some CF or black decals for the ss emblems.

what do you think?

I actually like it, but its a bit big. Is the SS the one from the Impala or Monte Carlo? Should have shaved the one off your trunka nd used that one. But I'm a yay. Nice SS man. Though people may mistake you for the SS/SC.

over done.......played out. Sorry man, just saying. This year at the HIN event in my area (the Washinton DC/Dulles Expo center event), pretty much every Cobalt SS or SS/SC had the SS emblem there. I don't like how the SS emblem dosen't cover the plastic above and below the emblem where the top tip and bottom tip of the bowtie used to be.

 

I think it has potential. Mess around with it a bit. Maybe paint the center of the letters orange and leave a white edge around the outside? It think it just needs to be toned down a little, but I like the direction you're going.

 

I voted yay, but the SS needs to be black. Black would look much better on your car IMO.

 

The problem is the grill is shaped wrong behind it and you can see that fact. I think if you could somehow fix those tabs the bowtie went on then maaaaybe it would look better.

I'm not gonna vote cause it has potential.

you should paint the SS lettering orange, and leave the outline silver, like already mentioned, that would be sweet

 

The black one looks the best my opinion though the SS does not look right to me i voted nah

 

its one of the "large" ones for the impala and such. i think i might try making it black or something. i agree that somehting just doesnt look right for some reason. it looked amazing on everyone that posted it in that other thread...but i think its cuz they had like dark blue cars and maybe the dark paint helped it.

 

no offense but your car looks too stock to have that on the front of the car. it wouldnt look good on my balt at this point either

Good thing about mine is it covers up the square piece from the bowtie.

well since then it has def grown on me and i like it. i dont really care if its too stock or whatever, im just doing it for looks and pride of the ss badge, even if some disagree its not a true ss. but either way, i never liked gold on anyhting lol.

 

I vote nay... just doesn't sit well with me.

 

I think it looks good. It's noticable.

 

I like it more than no, but I have to be a critic, looks good but you can still see the old chevy emblem on the grill trim.
