...says $480 for 2 days.

That might decrease if they get some sponsorships, but from what i've seen most clubs have been charging around $260 per/day. I think NASA charged $495 last year! If a club is charging less its probably a lot less track time and the groups are packed full.

For the $480 you get an instructor, event t-shirt, and 4 30 minute sessions each day. Total of 4 hours of track time. There are only 4 run groups, and about 25-30 cars in each run group. So you'll have plenty of clear track to enjoy!

...and the t-shirts aren't just something thrown together, here's a sample of one from a past event:

There is a great chance that Maven would go. I am still deciding between NJMP and MO.

We have released information about Season Passes for 2009. The more events you pre-purchase the better the discount.

There are places that rent helmets. As a member of TrackDaze you get up to 10% off at http://www.teamdi.com they have helmets that meet the requirements for $299. Depending on the event you attend we might be able to find you a free loaner.

As for the instructor, you will most likely have one the entire time as a Novice. Most instructors are good about sitting back and letting you enjoy your time on the track with only minor adjustments here and there.
