Representing In Global Time Attack This Weekend
So, making a big jump this weekend. The BC Racing NA / Foximus Motorsports #501 Cobalt will be in the Global Time Attack ProAm at Streets of Willow this weekend. After just missing a podium at Redline Time Attack! Round 4, but still sitting solidly 2nd in points in Street FWD, we are shifting gears a bit, and getting ready to show GTA what ECOTec power looks like.
Car is still in development, with advice from John Powell and some locals we have built our own aero kit that has made HUGE gains, just trying to get it dialed in currently. So we aren't going out there to set the world on fire, but hoping to be able to mix it up for the Street FWD class podiums.
And if you haven't, support us on facebook please. http://www.facebook.com/FoximusMotorsports
There will be live timing and scoring thru GTA and Speed District, and We may be posting a link for Racercast- where we may try and live stream some sessions.
Thanks again to our awesome sponsors and partners this season that are helping make this happen:

Hoping some photos turn up this week. The other car in our class dropped out with engine problems, so a win by default, I guess? Not sure how much I should celebrate that, heh. Trimmed the aero and tried a different tune, ran a 1:34.4 in 120* heat on Streets of Willow, so pretty pleased with that. 5 seconds better than we were a year ago. the LSJ brake kit and the bC Coilovers make a HUGE difference.
We go back out on July 4/5th with Redline Time Attack where we face off against some very stout (and overpowered Hondas. One is in August's Superstreet Magazine) So hoping now for a good show there.

IAT1's were like 130*
Coolant is 195-215, but thats taped up and with aero. I need to dump more water wetter back in. Its why I'm glad for a manual fan controller.
Hit 225 in traffic in the first session and we yanked tape off the grill.
Also thanks on the spoiler, we built it ourselves. Need to find time to go test and play with it, havent adjusted it too much yet (10* range) I might make a larger one this winter.
-You just deal with it. haha. Its 30 minute sessions. Id rather be warm with the 3 layer nomex and never need it, then catch on fire and wish I had it. same reason I have a 5lb fire extinguisher in the car.
