Saturday during practice I had 3 people with stopwatches in the pits. One of them had a best time of 1.38.90 and the others had me at 1.39.45 and 1.39.55
Sunday competition I ran a best of 1.39.66 (Mosport official time) beating the GT3 laprecord by less than a tenth of a sec!
That swaybar sure did the trick
Thank you Rob.
nope, not yet.

Somehow I find the Cobalt VERY easy to drive fast, maybe it is just because I was used to racing stone age cars for the last 10 years
loose is fast hehe

Hey venom, I cant believe I missed this thread. I am also persuing track events not at the strip but at road courses
I couldnt believe how the car handled itself when I went down to NJMP in June, this was my first time driving the car on a road course like NJMP and the track is one of the fastest in the nation. I ran in the novice group and there were some decent cars in my class a bmw m3 and a evo x. All I can say is wow running down an m3 was never sush an ego boost lol. And I know exactly what your talking about when we are in the classroom and the instructor (Peter Kruass) was teaching the class and all of a sudden I hear and I quote " Who is wondering why the cobalt is doing so well in the field?". I had a such an evil grin bc it was the car doin all the work bc I was just learnin for the first time. Getting compliments from porcshe owners and a zr1 owner was just icing on the cake when they said they loved hearing the whine on the front stretch, which I was screaming down at the tune of 138 mph.
1.6 seconds off the GT2 time. How about a little tune or some R-comps and go after the next record! Not sure how your classing system works up there. Wish there was something like this around here.

Good job man!
That was a tough one, I went FWO AND dropped a wheel in one lap to get that.
Thank you.

I will have one more update for you by the end of this month and it is going to be the most important/exciting one yet
Can I get December please?
I just looked at all the past winners this year and there are some nice cars in there. I'll see if I can get a pakage together and take a shot at it. Thanks for the idea.
Between 5a and b. I messed up under braking and went in too hot going up the hill.
After 8 track days and 2 autocross events they are getting low. I definately do not want to get caught in the rain now.
