Weird request?

Not sure if this is a weird request or not, doing a headlight swap in my girlfriends Scion TC and the new housings are h11, but the old harness is a 9006,

Possible to get a 9006 connector with a h11 bulb? i know of a company that can do it, but id rather shop here first if possible.

shouldnt the new projectors have connectors for the stock harness? bulb size is irrelevant since the new housings should have the bulb and bulb connector in one. all you're looking for is + to + and - to -

I'm either misunderstanding the question, or someone sold you some universal projectors/wiring in the projectors

Then three or four posts down one member has pictures in a separate link or problem and solution

so your swapping oem lights? From the oem reflector headlights to the oem projectors? You're probably gonna have to do some quick custom wiring, shouldn't be too hard since both 9006 and h11 are single xenon bulbs. From the looks of it both plugs are the same shape and pin size, see if the + and - wires are on the same side, if they are you should be able to just plug them in, if not, just swap the wires

The pins on the male side of the new harness are shorter to just miss a solid connection on female side.

Yes its going to be an OEM swap.

One company will sell them with everything all set plug wise, seeing if Mike can as well but its been a few days so idk

you can probably buy the connectors at an electronics store (Frys maybe?...if you have those out where you live). If not, just splice em together! lol

Thought about splicing. I just hate electric components. Got shot 10 feet once off my feet into a tool chest at my last job and after that I like nothing more than plugging my phone charger in the wall socket
