Yeah I wish i could have get the G85 in 2005, but i think at 2500 its way to expensive for what you get..........

Ok Recaro seat and LSD, but its really too expensive, and i dont like the inside all black...

but for me im tall and sport seat are not the best.......

Ya my dealer called me and told me basically the same thing. It pisses me off though how they figure the exchange rate to be a $800 difference when it should only be like $400 extra for the Recaro/LSD package.

Damn our money isn't that sh!tty

Wow are the SS's more than the RL's. My RL (no sunroof, or competition pkg, or xm or side curtain air bags) was only 31,8xx WITH tax. That being said, if I added all the options to it, it'd be fairly close to the same price but still less (I think when I priced it out it was 30,3xx plus tax).

I've ordered mine already. They will be on the lots soon...some dealers are already getting them. GM websites have not been updated yet.

Cool,
I want to get an SS for 2006 and I heard that they were going to offer it in automatic transmission which is what I want.

So anyone know how I can try to figure out an exact price of what it could be?

Would this be right?
Car $25,195
Sunroof $1,100
A/C tax $100
Destination $995
Automatic tans $1200 ???

Is that everything?

That would be like $28,950 plus 15% tax (in NB) = $32,878.50

Hey Eldon:

The price I quoted was for a 2.0L Supercharged SS. If want an automatic then you'll have to order the 2.4L VVT SS Coupe which I believe will be offered in an automatic. I imagine prices will be a little less than the SC's. I don't have that info on hand at this time.

At $25,195 the S/C SS is a great value. At $31,150 is is much less so.

I could care less about the On-star, sunroof--and at the over inflated priced the G85 package is a rip off.

Too bad all you suckers (J/K!) have to pay PST on top of the GST. Come move to Alberta---NO PST!

I picked up my 06 SS/SC about a month ago. I paid 27 and change for the full load with sun roof and LSD( i think). Is there a way to tell if it has the LSD option by looking at the VIN or anything else?????? Wanna be sure the salesman didnt BS me.

If the car has the Recaro seats then you have the LSD.

The seats will say Recaro. You do not have the LSD. Your dealer BS'd you.

You can always check your bill of sale for:

recaro performance pkg: incl recaro front bucket seats and limited slip differential, requires trim code 194 (W2E)

27K is the price for an SS with sunroof and thats it. The G85 package adds another $2500 or so. Never trust salespeople, always do your own homework.
