ya it drives good... if u wanna go for a test run come by... i used to drive a honda civic si... same colour.... if u remember... i drove my brothers black SIR... and to be honest... the SIR feels like a peice of garbage when u drive it... and the whole time... i thought it was awsome... the brakeing on the ss is incredible opposed to the SIR... and the handling is phenomanal..... the steering is very smooth..... never drove a car with electronic steering... the cobalt doesnt have a powersteerin pump... i luv this thing.... by the way was that you rollerbladin today? if it was u shoulda came by.... also quick question... what problems did you have with your sisters car... im very curious... ttyl

 

[my sister got like 6,000 km on it since dec ( 4 door LS), and its been in the shop like 7 times.the check engine light was on and it would not get out of first gear at all so we brought it in and they changed the oxygen senser then after that was changed we still had problems
on our way home the check engin light goes on again and the same thing happend were it would not get out of first gear and when it did it would give u wip lash when it did so we brought it back again then they said the ingation madule wires were faulty one was bad and burned the rest of them...
then after they chnaged that the check engin light went back on again so then we brought it back for the 3ed time in a matter of 4 days and they said it was the cadillac converter, and they knew it was that from the firts time they brough it in but GM would not let them change it til they tryed everything else cuz the cadillac converter is a 1100 part and gm was not going to replace it till they were sure... then we had a prob with the low fuel light comming on at times when it was not empty but that as fixed by the gas cap was not closing all the way or something....
and now the last time we brought it in they completly fucked up the back bumper and side of the car its all scratched and seems like the paint was buned or rubbed to hard so yet again her car is back at the dealer so they can fix the paint...

but it does drive good but i heard that the problmes she had lots of other ppl witht he 4 doorshave had the same problems but i hope the SS are not as mucvh as a pain..

 

I personaly just wanna say ive seen a few cobalt SS my brothers being the first. he has been driving his around since the middle of March. He was told by the dealership that he was the first to drive a coblat of any lot in canada(test drives dont count) we have been having a blast driving it around with no problems!

 

You are right...................just take the whole damned system out and put in the one that works!!!!

 

i dont find anything wrong with the system it has for a factory one it is decent... but yea who would not take it otu and put a better one in come on now

Walk into my dealer in 100 mile house to get my truck serviced and sitting out front is a cobalt ss in arrival blue ! I now own it and what a blast !!!!!!!

 

I have my SS , didn't wait, the guy who order the car cancel is order because he was not able to sell is other car.

 

yea im hopeig someone cancles an order so i cna get my car faster... but its almsot may so im happy i wnat my car GRRR

Last week I went to my dealer and he had a blue one with the sunroof on his way to the dealership..he showed me the papers as proof. That car has already been allocated to him by GM. I told him I was more interested in the red one without a sunroof.

He told me put a 500$ deposit on the blue one and when it comes it I will be able to trade it in with another dealer for a red SS.( it's alot easier to trade an SS for another SS) Everything has been dealed right down to my monthly payments and signed. Just gotta wait...I figure mid may to late june.

So now I have a Red SS (stock) somewhere with my name on it. My insurance broker also gave me a good deal.

 

HAW HAW!!!! I got it!! it's sitting in my driveway now.. I was only able to take it for a small spin though, going to go run around with it now I reckon I got some pics comin soon.. damn I'm excited.

A black SS just showed up at BoB Myers in Ajax today...............I'll be there for a test drive at 9:00am tomorrow!! I know........already have the red SS on order but I really have to test drive this thing. Seems that the cars are starting to pop up everywhere now.

 

let me know how it drievs man cuz i have nto even tets drivin one i jsut bought it haha
