Well I just got off the phone with my dealer today, my car was supposed to be 10 days ago but now it has been put off for another week all the way up to a MONTH because of the faulty sunroof recall.

 

Thats actually a very good thing that you wont have to deal with that problem, be thankful that the biggest fault yet was found in yours before you even got it!

 

i know but it could have been fixed at the dealer and not have to get sent back to Lordstown

 

4 sure nect time i see u out u got to take me for a spin....

on other hand im really pissed again there so many red SS at dealers around toronto but none of them will give them up to dean myers so now i got to wait till mid to end may and if my SS got recalled for the sunroof i'll be witing that much longer.... UGH!!!

made sopme ground breaking events toya for my search on my Ss with otu waiting till the mid of june or so... so i called eevy dealer in torotno and got 3 maybe 4 SS that i can get jsut wiating on them to clal me back to confrim that they are not sold so im kinda happy...but wont be happy till i get my hands on my car

 

What's this about? Faulty Sunroof? I never heard of a recall or anything, but mine is sort of acting up. By that I mean I have to hold it down the entire time to make it open, from the manual I should be able to just press it 2x. Not that I won't get it fixed.. just curious :-)

 

Well I'm not sure about the GTA, But i live east of the City, and i ordered mine roughly 3 weeks ago from Lauria Pontiac in PortHope (yes a pontiac dealer...long story) and the day i bought it, there was a Red SS on the delivery truck waiting to be delivered to Quantrill chev in PortHope aswell.
The delivery guy was really cool and took it off the truck just for me to look at and sit in...I had doubts about buying it, but after I played around with it for 15 mins I went straight to the salesman and bought it.
Mine has no sunroof, so hopefully i get mine sooner than later.
7 weeks and counting.
