Guys, I am working on something through GM right now, to see if I can get some Recaro Seats for myself. I have heard time and time again on this site that Recaro Seats CANNOT be ordered. Thats BS. If an owner buys an SS with Recaro's and a few months later they have seat problems, ripping, stiching coming out etc, do you think the dealer is going to say, sorry, even though its under warranty, recaro seats cannot be ordered. They can be had, and I will have them soon enough. 2006ArrivalBlue, After I sat in yours, I went on a mission..................

you can buy them but it will take anywhere from a week to never. and they are if i remember right they list for approx 2500 for the set. but you are correct they are available just depends on when you might get them

 

Try $2500 each.

 

when i priced them out for a buddy of mine through my dealership for the set they were like 2500. that is my cost anyways hmmm now i have to go and check

ok so this is what my parts dept is saying. they are 1200 a side and they are only doing current year. so the ones with 05's they are telling me they will be unable to get them unless the car came with them, as in warranty issues. now this is just what my parts guys are saying do not hold me to it

 

$2500 a side is in Can. dollars and that is MSRP which nobody pays. You also cannot order a complete fully assembled seat, it's comes in pieces and have to be put together. No way in hell I would ever pay $1200 US or $2500 Can. for a seat!

 

Don't remember the site, but if you buy the pair it was like #1600.

Yes but in 05' only you little basrards in the States had the G85 option

 

Why would you spend that much on them, why not find some used ion RL seats, or even another recaro seat, or another brand, if you think the Cobalt SS recaro's are nice you should look at some of the others out there such as Corebuea or something lke that or Sparco seats sorry if my spelling is off, just trying to give you guys more options!

 

They do pop up on ebay at times . I Paid $510 for both of my brand new front seats . They were from a brand new wrecked Redline . Redline seats are the exact same except they dont have SS embroidery and the cloth is blue instead of grey .

 

either way if you find any recaro sets at a good price you would be dumb to pass it up...
