hey Guys, I was thinking about the name thing. What area would South Central Ontario cover ? I really don't know what cities are included in that area but if it works,we could do a play on the letters ;

We liked that name too but we all agreed that all of Ontario might be too big (thinking about members in Ottawa and northern Ontario who might want to start their own chapter). We wanted to limit the geographic area to Southern Ontario since most of us will be coming from this area.

I think S.O.C.C. is appropriate we should go with it.

Yes, your suggestion was a huge hit. Maybe what we'll eventually do is have area VP's. For example, you'd be in charge of Durham Region, I will handle York Region, ninja44 can handle Metro (probably need 2 VP's for this area) and we can get tio and another member to get new members from Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville. How does this sound??

I`ll speak to the man in charge at the meet. Maybe I`ll throw my hat into the ring for a S.O.C.C. executive position. I may just be able to help w/ the success of this chapter.
