Current Cost of a SS T/C

Anyone know the dead cost of these? What do you folks pay per month on these cars if you dont mind me asking. The car's for my old man, he's looking to downscale and possibly get rid of his LS4.

Let me know.

I bought mine used with 10k miles on it for $13000. The guy who traded it in burned up the clutch so it had a brand new one. That's the only problem it had. I pay $258 a month. Used is the way to go on these.

He burned up the clutch beating the crap out of the engine.

Used is NOT the way to go on almost any performance vehicle.

Thank you captain obvious. I'm in the car business my self and what the site tells you is a ROUGH idea of what the payments will be. I'm working from a cost perspective here and probably would be ordering the car from our store here.

I'm just wondering what the payments would be on the car and the dead cost.

Since you are in Canada, about $500 a month for 60 months if no trade in.

Your payments will go buy. How many months you go to finance it and your credit score. The higher your score the better interest rate you will get. Also most used performace cars have been **** kicked, and out of warrenty so all repairs will come out of your pocket. Don't know about in the USA but right know in Canada if you have a high score you can finance a brade new SS/TC over 84 monthes for $351 a month with GM discounts.

^^^^^^ LMFAO HAHAHAHA are you serious!!! For just a Cobalt your paying that amount. I can honestly say, Go **** yourself. Not for a car that depreciates faster than anything else on the market. The only thing good about this car is the engine, PERIOD. You Canadian Eh, are funny.

The problem is with these "I pay xxx a month" posts is that it doesn't include ANY details. How much did you put down, what was your total cost, HOW MANY months are the payments for, does it include gap insurance, etc.

Very easy to criticize without knowing the specifics. Seriously immature post quoted.

Umm, financing anything for 84 months is ridiculous. Period. Even if it maintains its resale value like gold.

I pay $300 a month, for 60 months at 5.1%.

If you read the post, no where did I say I was paying that much. All I said was this is the going deal on a new Cobalt at the time with GM. MY Cobalt is paid for in full. So try and read something properly before you slam someone and make stupid remarks you ignorant dumb ass redneck

Bahahahahaha, Redneck!!!! Really!!!! Hahahaha that sure as hell made my day and made me laugh out Loud, literally!

If you like to throw out race into this then you might want to call me then a Spik, Cause I can't spik english. I'm Puerto Rican, way far from the North up in Canada and far from Redneck, though I do have blue eyes, does that make me redneck then there Demento?

Look, Sorry for just coming to frank for some of you, ok. There that out of the way. Now, I just have never seen that it was possible to take out a loan for "84 months" only to lower your payments but fork over more to the bank in interest over that time period. I too was lucky enough by the grace of God, to have paid off my car in full, but not lucky enough to prevent myself from crashing it. In a matter of 10 month ladies and Gents I went from paying 23K(Aug 2008) to getting from the insurance 15K back for what it was valued at.

Anything over 72 month with an interest rate of 6% or above is the reason why bankers should get smacked for approving such non sense! When I see a pizza boy coming to deliver my pizza in an STI, I then can come to understand why this great American Economy is doing as good as it is. I was only reacting to this in reading why people will do or accept whatever offer just to have something that, really if you think about it, they can't even afford. I think that we should go back to when credit cards first started showing up in the 80's and the rules were, that if you couldn't back up the amount you would use with your card with what was in your bank account, Transaction Failed!

Oh I just used the term redneck because that is what you sounded like with the ignorant remark of telling me to go fu*k myself after just mentioning how a person could get a new Cobalt SS/TC with lower payments. I to would not go 84 months on any car. As for your nationality it makes no difference to me, it was still an ignorant dumb ass remark to make.

No problem, and no more imput except for. I know about the only good thing about the Cobalt SS/TC is that its fast and has a good engine, and the car has a shity resale value and a nice way to say not to high a quality econobox car.

Even though Im from the North in Pa. Redneck is a true american who buys chevys , drinks home made whatever , talks with a draw , has many guns , likes to fight , dislikes most non americans and grows his own. By the way theres a 2009 down the street at the used car dealer for 17900 with 13K on it. I think it could be had for 15500.
