So annoying not being able to get into second and fourth right. Thinking I should adjust them myself. I just don't want to play with anything just in case the dealer damaged something.

I would suggest taking it to dealer as it will be covered.
Before you take it just feel the roll pin if its sticking out and not flush than it's stretched or broken and needs to be replaced.

Ya I was gonna take it back. Actually have an appointment for Tuesday but don't know if I need it cause it seems to be running fine now.

I'll check the roll pin. My cables needed to be adjustaded anyway but I could at least get into gear.

Sucks this had to happen now that the highways are nice and dry.

If the pin is stretched you will have a hard time getting into 2 and 4
Also the shifter will have a lot of free play. If you can shake it around pretty good in nuetral im betting its the pin

Thanks. I'm starting to see the GM "quality" in this car.

There are a lot of small flaws. But hey it's cheaper and faster than the competition.

And that's why I love it. So under rated. Beat a Fox body from a 70 roll that my friend knows and saw him do a 12.7 in the quarter. Let's just say the owner wasn't too impressed.

Don't know. But I think the reason 5.0's run such good times is cause there launches are so ridiculously good. Cause I know the guy can drive pretty well. He also didn't have an alternator on his car. Dunno how much that would of affected it though.

And I couldn't shift quickly into 2nd or 4th. Dealer said they will look at it but sounded like they didn't really want to do anything about it. I'm positive it didn't do this before.
