So apparantly a bunch of the TTI guys went for a cruise to Skinners and ended up all rear ending each other or something like that. I can't seem to find any much detail about it just heard from another TTI member. Jordan did you hear?

So, I drive an hour and a half pick up my motor. Unpackage it to make sure all is well. What do I see down the cylinder holes? Direct Injection pistons! I was like wtf!?!?!? As if.... When I initially talked to ZZP about this motor I was told it runs JE pistons. Try to call ZZP, it just goes to a voicemail saying they don't answer the phone but leave a message and someone will get back to you. What the **** is that!?!?! Don't know how a business can run like that. So I leave a message and fire off an email. Wait around for 20 min, no reply. So screw it i'm going home I guess without a motor. Start driving home and about half an hour into my drive I get an email from them. Zoomer is telling me the motor comes with DI pistons and they've tested about 20 LSJ cars with these pistons. Trying to talk via email just wasn't working so I told them to call me. So Steve did and he said the same thing Zoom did and apparently they must have thought I was talking about their fully forged Gen 3 that comes with JE pistons. **** me, so I turn back and got it.

What. A. Day

 

Heard an FRS may be a write off actually.

 

So, as long as I can get the car running by winter and it makes it reliably until spring and I feel comfortable with it, it looks like I'll be taking a trip up there in the spring sometime to see you crazy Canadians

 

Better start increasing your drinking tolerance now so you can keep up.
