Continental Sport - Winnipeg Tires, Rims For Sale - Kijiji Winnipeg Canada.

Is gas economy worse on stage 2?

whats the difference between trifecta and zzp tunes?

To be honest, I'm more interested in the gas economy gains from trifecta and cleared codes than I am speed.

250 for that set looks pretty good if the zzp tune is on par with trifecta.

I don't have the original air box, I had a really shitty setup that the car came with (read: tape). I showed Dustin the pics I don't know how to upload them lol. Plus I received the AEM intake for free.

Also for my current situation Reliability>Speed, and from what I've read changing pully can lead to problems quicker?

I get better mileage with my 300+ whp set up then I did when my car was stock lol. But i drive a lot of highway. A tune isn't for fuel economy its to make power. But with a good custom tune you can make the mileage a bit better. ZZPs canned tune and a trifecta tune would be very similar mileage and power wise

I noticed a increase of fuel economy on the highway with my tune.

Think of it this way, If air is flowing in and out easier, your car will use less power to get it in and out. Using less power is using less fuel.

So basically best option is get the stage 2 and take it to the world renouned DDP?

Is there a way to just tell my ecu to play nice with those codes lol.

I thought i was almost done everything after that, and the fact that I cant get the seatbelt torx out lol.

Your tune is also custom. With an LSJ Vince just throws fuel in it till its puking out the exhaust pipe and sends you on your way.

I have a spare stock airbox with k&n filter if you want to buy it. Otherwise the only other way for the ecu to play nice is to get tuned. Which in your case isn't worth it without more mods.

That's not very fair to say at all.

His tunes are rich, obviously. Like any canned tune.

Its also not Vince's fault the LSJ's are outdated enough not to have a built in ECU monitored wideband

Yeah when i was tuned and DP only (with a intake) id see 35 MPG on the highway consistantly. Since then itll be more around 32-33.

You can nut swing trifecta all you want. But if you are looking for better fuel economy out of a tune with an LSJ trifecta most definitely isn't the way to go. Running 10.0 afr at WOT is not good for a motors longevity either. Good for LNFs not so good for LSJs

So the stage 2 kit won't really affect fuel economy is what you guys are getting at. In that case 250 is a great deal?

Im not nut swinging at all Dustin. You know ill be the first to say a HPT tune on a LSJ is superior then Trifecta, Trifecta on a LSJ is a canned tune. However, the comment i have bolded above is completely uncalled for.

Me and you can banter back and forth and have a good laugh about it, but to insult Vince and his company like that is fairly rude considering you've never even talked to the guy.

It would be the same if someone told me the service advisor at headingly sport shop just finger didles your bike and sends you off on your way with a broken pile of ****. Id defend you and your work in a heartbeat because i know (well i hope) you don't do that.

Okayyy Jordan calm down. I'm not bashing trifecta. I'm stating a fact on the proof I've seen first hand with mikes car. That's it.
