Well the main reason I want to is the CAI giving me codes. There's a zzp intercooler on there too.

And I have a Megan Racing exhaust? Not sure if it's just the muffler or the full exhaust. Reason I don't know is because I didn't do it myself and I'm too noob to know if its a full catback exhaust or the previous person just changed muffler.

 

Oh i gotcha. I would suggest tracking down a stage 2 kit and then grabbing a tune. They go pretty cheep and if your paying for a tune anyway.... Even buy stage 2 injectors and a pulley seperately and you could get a hell of a deal! Otherwise the tune will be pretty much for driveability purposes.

 

I don't know how to change anything myself . I'm also a student so I don't have a lot of extra money to spend either.

 

Come on over to DDP. I'll install it for ya. . But I agree with Dustin. Save some cash and do some other mods before spending cash on a tune.

 

If you can only do one mod due to money. Just save your money and put your airbox back on. You are hardly making any gains with the intake on stock trim. Save up and do it right. You will save money in the long run!

Apparently 500 bucks. I'm going to guess that prices have gone down a bit since this was written almost 6 years ago.

 

If I were you shop the classifieds and get yourself a set of stage 2 #48 injectors. Im sure someone here would have a 2.9 pulley for you..
Not sure what else you would need I think a belt and pully tensioner?

Dustin or mike would have 100% details for you.
But piecing it together I would eager you could save like 300$ plus Dustin has has his car appart like 400 times so you would save another 200 for install haha.
Just pay for a tune and your good!

 

But Dustin by time he gets a tune it actually equal out what new is worth. Here is ZZPs stage 2. Best bang for the buck and they give you a canned tune with the deal. DDP is my performance shop lol. Inside joke.
