Happy Canada day to all you man-tin-ob-ans...

Hey, I seem to recall last year one of you told me that wheels getting repaired was much more reasonable there than here - can you please tell me where to go?
I think I'm going to bring some TC rims for them to repair... last time I checked it costs $200/ea locally to repair them - and iirc the price over there was roughly 1/4 of here...

This Mennonite doesn't drink.
I broke out of the fourteens - I was hoping for a bit better, but wasn't running the exact tune I was hoping to - so dropping a good 4/10th's from my previous best is definately good enough.
I couldn't better a 2.2x 60ft either....
I wish this track was local - that's the closest good track (Castrol Raceway) it's almost three hours away ~ but you probably guessed which track it was.

I'm pretty sure you all expressed shock at the cost of repairing wheels here - I know for a fact I can buy replacements for about the same cost as repairing them here...
I did email Winnipeg Wheel works though...
I have a full set which I'd like to have repaired.
just looked them up - I see no website, no email address or anything...

Yea im not surprised they dont have a website etc. they likely wont even give you an estimate over the phone, if they do it will likely be a little on the high side. The trick with them is just to bring the wheels down to the shop and haggle with them. I will guarantee the work will be top notch and will be a fair amount cheaper than Winnipeg Wheel though.
We'll see what WWR says...

Ultimate wheel is better. My buddy with a evo 9 just got 4 wheels repaired and powder coated there for about $600 and he said it was really good service kept him in the loop if there were any issues and the got them done ahead of schedule.
