I actually liked the OE ContiSportContact2's ~ they did have a really crappy tread life rating;
but they were not noisy, and the smaller tread life was obviously at the expense of awesome traction...
keep in mind the Nurburgring record lap times were done on a 100% bone stock car with those tires...
(unlike other cars which have since eclipsed it, and were thinly veiled race cars - and far from stock)

but I'd wager the tires were kinda cooked by the end of the run!

I'm heading to Toronto at the end of march and off to Vegas for the finals at the beginning of May for supercross. I don't race anymore but still love the sport. I'm so pumped!!!

Well since I figured it's almost break pad time, I bit the bullet and bought some R1 concept drilled/slotted rotors and break pads today.

Yeah for sure, I'm picking them up next Sunday in the states. Hopefully get a warm day to put them on next week.

 

The way the weather is it will be -20 with 8ft of snow and plus 8 and melt the next day haha.

My room mate drove down from Winnipeg on Saturday morning...

He reported to me that the drive up till about Moose Jaw was fine... then the weather & road conditions took a dump...



I woke up to -26 w/o wind chill this morning...

I think this is the first REAL blast of winter we're getting here ~ how are you all doing?

 

we are also getting a blast of winter. thank god because ill be in Florida in about 2 days.


besides that, i really need to get a new job and do something i enjoy.

 

This winter sucks so far. For a snowmobiler. It snows and it melts. I wanna go wind out a few passes on my sled to give me my speed fix lol

 

My buddies went out north this weekend and had a good time on the ol sled's

 

Ya seems to be what ya gotta do to ride right now. I'm not that diehard to go trailer my sled hours to ride lol. I just like leaving out of my driveway.

 

Get a quad! Can ride year round!
