Any of you TC guys have a factory airbox laying around you would want to sell, or rent it to me for a week or so? Im getting an intake temp CEL and am 99% positive it is from the injen intake. I would just need airbox to see if it is injen that is in fact causing the CEL. If it isnt ill need the box to bring it into the stealership. Let me know if any of you TC guys have one. Thanks!

And it looks like I am gonna be putting off the meth install this spring and going for something bigger. Just came across an awesome deal in the classified for an LNF turbo for 200 bucks shipped. Got my brain wheels turning so I jumped on the deal, and now I am looking at getting the BNR GT28 upgrade done to the extra turbo!

Its 950 for the BNR GT2860 upgrade and I guess plus shipping to send in a core turbo. It rated at 360 BHP, but it complete bolt on to stock parts! So no need to mess around with custom crap, and I can use the stuff i got already.
Do you feel the power to $ value is there? I feel as though upgrading cams and meth would be money better spent. IMHO. You could make that kind of power with them and still turbo upgrade and utilize them.

And I look at as a more stable power increase than meth, yes from what Dustin has told me its safe to run but it another system added to your engine with possible breakdowns. To me the upgraded turbo is something that will have available power under my foot. I dunno just my logic I guess. And you could always add meth to that yet. What the BNR offers meets my power goals. I believe a fully bolted Balt with a good tune can put down between 330-340whp 390-410wtq
Cams can increase airflow significantly in the top middle powerband. You could see an additional 20-30whp if tuned correctly. Cams would provide that constant at the foot power. Meth is always a good idea just for its cooling potential but not necessary. With tuning advancements for the Lnf people are making the big power at a lower psi lately so it's not as crazy aggressive as it used to be to break 320hp.
Albiet if you did the turbo compressor wheel upgrade you could see near 400whp with the cams! Carefull with that company I have seen several pics of the exhaust inlet on the turbine being cracked at the manifold due to over machining it down until it is weak. Apparently after use they have been known to degrade and crack.
More opinions are definitely welcome I haven't done extensive research into that turbo you only hear about the bad unless your looking haha.

Smook, sounds interesting. Curious to see results and the debate never heard about this mod for turbos. So very curious, good luck to ya. As for Jordan he's scared he will be less powerful lol he's jelly. Jk jp😜
With all the boltons your car has the potential to make that power you are looking for.
Are you currently tuned snook? Have you ever dynoed? Cams still sound more like all around potential for hp gains to me. Before you spend that much on getting a factory turbo modded you should troll the classifieds, those come up for sale more often than you would think and for allot less than 950 plus the cost of the turbo plus shipping two ways.

Ya I really don't need a supercharger either but yet I upgraded to a larger one lol. I remember when I first bought my car I said to myself " I just want a GMS2 so it's a little faster then stock, that's it". Well that went out the window once I bolted up my OTTP stage 2 and I was smiling ear to ear lol.
