Manitoba SS's 2012 thread
Saw an nice Silver SS 2.4 at the Timmies on Ness 2 days ago. It was lowered with winted windows and the rear windows had all sorts of performance stickers such as injen etc.. These cars look nice lowered.
Also I chased down a nice blue SS thinking it was Dustin, but after I caught up i noticed something was telling me it wasnt yours Dustin..... He had a sunroof! LOL!

Problems...PLEASE!
Like it squeeking over every uneven surface and taking gm 3 years of constant fixes to repair is a problem!
Like it popping up everytime i shut my door and letting in droplets of water was anoying.
Nah it just let's you know you bought a quality car that gm is more than glad to keep improving on

Picked up my car from vicarks today, steering actual feeling a little tighter with the recall
Fixed the roll pin, they had to pull a tranny mount and lower engine to reach it lol
And they actually did a pretty good job on the scratches.
Car feels so nice with the tight steering and tight shifts now

I've had this roll pin issue twice now. First gear should feel like a struggle to get in gear. Shifter should feel very sluggish with alot of free play . Especially in the forward/backward motion.
Also you should adjust your cables, will tighten it up a bit. There is a how to on here somewhere with how the cables are supposed to look.
If you shifter feels spongy though I am betting it is the roll pin. Just reach down on top of your tranny from beside the fuze box. Feel the weighted knuckle and you should feel two linkages with 2 roll pins. If the roll pins are sticking out a lot they could be stretched/sheared

I figured part of it was the linkage but it doesnt 100% fit the descriptions i have read about so i figured yours sound more correct.
It can be difficult to put into 1st and 5th from time to time and has bit of play in neutral. Pushing into gear doesnt have that nice clean pop it used to have when going into gear. It just sort of Pushes into gear and almost feels as though it could just pop back out again... it never does but it doenst feel nice.
