Manitoba SS's 2012 thread
I used to never have dedicated winter tires, and I just dealt with it (generally I ran BFG Radial TA's all year round);
I was driving a co-worker to a place to meet her boyfriend, and I had both tires blazing on a bridge deck when she turned to me and said;
"Hun, I think you need to do something about your tires"
She was right.
So I generally have a dedicated winter tire - and prior to the Cobalt, they have always been a studded tire.
Chudds powersports in Gimli is an Arctic Cat dealer and built up a Z1 sled. It's cats factory turbo 4 stroke that comes stock with 180hp. They ran it on the 29th and it ran a 9.41@147mph. And apparently they had huge traction problems haha. Now that's a fast sled!
I was at San Dales as they were dyno tuning a turbo artic cat. 300hp. Sounded like hell unleashed.
How do people not know the difference between sport red tint coat and victory red? I keep getting PM's from people with victory red cars trying to sell me their god damn spoilers
Is that '09 Sport Red SS which I grabbed parts off still there?
IIRC it was a high rise car - but I could be mistaken.
It might be a bit pricey, but it's local (no shipping) and it's colour matched.
Another option might be to see if a vinyl shop can closely match your paint, and just get any old spoiler, wrap it, then install it.
I would suggest that it would come down to the guy doing the wrap, and the thickness of the vinyl.
I have no doubt that Mark (aka: jrmoto) could do it so that it looked great ~ granted to do it properly, it would have to be wrapped off of the car, and if it were a high rise, it would probably need to be taken apart.

the best stuff is NOT printed, and even for the stuff they would receive in colour, there's variations therein...
You will never get that high gloss "freshly waxed" look with vinyl, but then again wrapping a part is a compromise;
the compromise being some durability, and finish appearance for cost.
