Im just saying for someone with a ss/sc thats a replacement to the stock ones.
I can get new NITTO 555's out of tire rack for 450 bucks.
i offered him 400 lol
I know mike because I have those tires. They are crap but you are selling your car anyways right? So it doesnt really matter what you bolt on. I don't think tire rack sells nittos. I don't see them on the website anyways. Looks like I'm buying new KDWs. I made WPG SS/SC what i thought was a reasonable offer on his because they are $600 new for a set on tire rack and he just told me to go buy new ones. *shrugs*

For 50 bucks, id rather have nitto 555's then **** used tires.
You gotta remember shipping and duties too though. Shipping from tire rack to my door will be $237. But they state that includes shipping, duties and brokerage fees. And that UPS will not ask for any more money when they show up.
Also some digging i did.
If tires are made in the USA they are able to claim NAFTA which means no Duty.
If they are made anywhere else, its 7% on the value of what you paid (and then 5% GST on the same value)
So bringing up Nittos (Jap. Company, made in america) you would pay GST (5%). Thats all.

I just did a qoute on discount tire (and they went up in price)
555's (552.00)
Vale steams (12.00)
UPS Shipping to Pembina ND (free)
Total
564.00
I dont know what kind of qoute you got dustin. Probably shipped to your house.
Heres the thing, You should not pay a cent of duty for anything made in the USA. Brokers like fedex and UPS might charge you that but with a NAFTA you can claim it and do the brokerage for yourself and not pay ****.
Also. Goods and services tax. Bullshit. You should pay a GST and thats all. Your buying goods out of state (and out of country) you don't pay americas tax when you do that via shipping
Provincal Tire Fee, Never heard of that so i cant comment
I remember looking almost a year ago, they were 480 shipped to ND. **** i should have bought them then.
