Princess auto has a loan a tool program. you can borrow one for free and a refundable deposit. Or you can meet up with Dustin (bluelightning) he said he has one, and scan it.

Well this weather sure has me itching for some boost. Going to my parents place on friday, going to pull the car out plastidip the wheels and put the springs and the dp on. Waiting on projectors so hopefully april 1st be on the road.

Jordan I bought some new o2 sensors instead of taking it to the dealer. I wont need the de tune, however I'll still need to do some tuning for the dp. Also I want a switchable aggresive tune ( 24-25 psi ), and a 20psi tune when esc is on. Prob shoot for first couple weeks in April.

Well my engine light turned off guys all by itself. If I get it scanned will it still show why it was on? It just doesn't feel like its running rite. Maybe I should get it in somewhere to get looked at and tuned? What do you think

I'm not sure who would do HP tuning in winnipeg... If you want to get tuned your options are trifecta, trifecta, or trifecta. So you won't be able to take it to a shop to do that.
If you scan and look in the banked or stored codes you will see it, and it will have a brief description of what is wrong. But all you really need is the code, then do some research on here

To me is seems to hesitate and the whining noise is alot louder. But then again I've only had the car for two weeks maybe it's just me. Unless one of you cobalt pros wanna drive my car and tell me if it all drives fine or if there is definatly somthing wrong with it

I'm HP tuned . HPT FTW with an LSJ. I'm keeping my eyes peeled to purchace an HPT Pro so I don't have to rely on my tuner for tweaks and such.

I've also thought about buying Hp tuner kit and trying to do it myself. I figure its not worth the time, money, headaches. I think it would be interesting but meh

I'm guessing you went through motion or something to get tuned?

I got trifecta tuned for my LSJ. Still tweaking it. in the future i may go HPT to really fine tune it. But I like the options the Trifecta Stg 3 tune allows such as user set rev limiter, HOM (which i haven't used yet).

I would get remote tuned by an HPT god on here and learn as I go. I definitely wouldn't just jump into it and hope for the best. No my buddy Kevin or on here "kennyspec" has hpt. He had an 06 Balt like mine but turbo swapped making over 400whp. He has since turned it back to stock for a dd and bought a new camaro.

it's my opinion that for the LNF cars at least, many of the P300-301/302/303/304 are directly related to loose/out of place rockers...

both times I had them ~ I ended up getting top end work ~ the second time the rocker had obviously been banging around there in a LOOOOOOOOONG time...

That's the guy that built his own dp and chargepipes and everything right?
I was looking forward to seeing that car but I understand he had transmission problems?

Ya he built the whole kit himself. He did have problems tearing 3rd gear out doing roll on pulls so he upgraded to an F23 trans out of a cavalier (much stronger). Buuuut a few of us went to motion for a dyno day. Kevin did his pull and blew it up on the dyno. Turns out he had a meth nozzle plugged in 1 cylinder and was detonationing but not showing up on his computer. He made almost 300whp at 4000rpm when it blew lol. After that he had enough and put it back to stock.
