I just looked on car-part.com for an ecm for a 2008-2010 Cobalt SS;

One hit came from good-ole Winnipeg;
I phoned asking about the price of the ecm because I will be there through the weekend - and he told me they just got the car (2009 SS), and that they want to sell the drivetrain whole;

I tried doing a search on buysell.com to see if they had it listed in the bargain finder - with no hits;

is this drivetrain being listed somewhere locally?

I couldn't think of any other way to search for it from Calgary...

I'm curious as to what a dismantler would be asking for a complete drivetrain...

EDIT:

I just called them back (Team Auto Parts);
these guys think they're going to get $1200 for the set of wheels - one I expect to be quite damaged!?! ~ just makes me that much happier on the set I bought earlier this summer for 1/4 the cost (and likely the same kind of damage)...
