Oh yea.. They spared no expense!

 

Almost as bad as the 2005 eclipses the had trying to mimic the fast and the furious.
Basically replaced the seats with racing seats put underglow on the car and a matching vinyl on the sides of the car. ( matched the underglow colour) that and extra Crome rims.

Absolutely no performance mods.

Anyone remember when Vickar Mitsubishi made like 5 of these and started selling them at world of wheels? Charged like 10,000 extra for it..

I last lived in Winnipeg around 95-96;
There used to be some action to watch (Saturday night?) on the dump road(s);
it was a rotating thing to keep “unwanteds” out of the loop…

Anyone care to PM me if any of this is still happening?

I'm always on the hunt for spare tires (either 225/40/18 or 235/40/18), if anyone has any leads...

and even though I already have a nearly perfect Arrival Blue spoilerless trunklid, I am interested in a Rally Yellow one - any leads?? - anyone interested in maybe a partial trade??

and on a related note, I take it Kijiji is more popular than Craigslist in Winnipeg - is this correct??

if I was to want to see if any yard has a 2005-2009 spoilerless trunklid from a Rally Yellow Cobalt, are there any yards anyone would suggest I phone?

As I seem to recall, there was a pick your part type yard, and H&R auto wrecking (dismantler??), as well as (back then it was my favorite) Midnite Autowrecking (another self serve yard) all in the NE - not too far from Kitchen Kraft...
Has anything changed there??

I'm shortly going to have a stage 1 refalsh (bought the kit a couple months ago) - and if I did an afterarket tune, I would require the stock ECM be left alone...

I think you are mistaken about the MAP sensor upgrade.

I can go ahead and show you when your in town how my car reads above 23 PSI, i can also show you the difference between 30 PSI and 23 PSI. i can also show you how to get full warranty with a after market tune ontop of that i can show you how to save yourself 500 dollars.

I have read several times over that aftermarket tuning on stage 1 is actually better than not...

You can try a place called action auto. It's not a self pick yard but they have a computerized inventory with tons of stuff. I would be down for a meet!

well, what do ya wanna know?! like i drive a cobalt, im in the Ontario Cobalt Club and i go to their meets all the time, but since i'm moving away from southern ontario, i can't go to their meets anymore.... manitoba is the next closest to where i'll be

 

I would love to start meets around here. It seems noone on this thread has the ambition to. I've met a few guys off this site and it's been great. Would like to meet more!
